Kenny

Kenny is co-owner and has worked as a guide and in retail the past 15 years. Since his childhood, he and his father, who was born in the Little Cataloochee Valley and whose relatives Palmer Creek was named after, would fly fish all over the Smoky's and Western North Carolina.

Kenny and his partner won the first ever 2003 Southeastern Fly Fishing Master's competition sponsored by OLN and continued to represent our area in the national 2003 Fly Fishing Masters. He has been featured in Our State Magazine. He is considered one of the topmost fishing guides in the area to go to whether fishing our mountain streams or the renowned tailwaters in Eastern Tennessee. He is most knowledgeable concerning the fly fishing industry.

Johnny

Johnny was born and raised in South Carolina but now calls Black Mountain his home. Johnny guides and works in the store part time. He is experienced in both fresh and salt water fishing. He first started fly fishing at age 12. He and his grandfather would fish wild streams above White Water Falls located in upstate South Carolina. His first trout was a 12" brown that took a male Adams Dry Fly. He has been passionate about fly fishing ever since that moment. Johnny loves to help others hook and land their first trout and continues to feel the same excitement for them as he felt as a 12 year old boy. Catch Johnny any given day helping customers and informing them of our local area.
